Okay, to be fair, that was the default title and I mean really, who's going to argue? Hi! I'm Steven, a recent summa cum laude Comp Sci graduate following my dreams of becoming a software developer. While working with Python has been my real passion, over the years I have dabbled in many facets of programming.

I got my first PC (an IBM Aptiva from Radio Shack) at age 15, and fondly remember the Sunday mornings drives to the 'local' Best Buy, many, many miles away. It was on one of these trips, perusing the shelves lined with computer games (you remember those huge boxes the PC games came in, in the late 90s?) when I stumbled across this one called Warcraft II. Often one to judge a game by its box art, I picked that one and eagerly raced back home to install it. It did not disappoint, but one feature of the game I spent the most time on wasn't the campaign or multiplayer, but rather, its included level editor. My mind raced with the possibilities of the things one could create with this utility, and I would go on to spend innumerable hours tinkering with the editor and figuring out ways to bring my ideas to life. I look back and laugh now at what my 15 year old self's concept of programming was, but still, I cannot deny the impact this had on my desire to take on development as a future career.
