Get Remote Support

In order to allow me to remotely connect to your machine, there are two main requirements:

  • Your computer must be connected to the Internet

  • You will need to have an application called RustDesk installed

1) Verifying your computer is connected to the Internet
  1. Open a web browser and try to go to a website

  2. You can optionally click here to test

  3. If the website displays properly, your computer should be connected to the Internet, and you can proceed to the next step of installing RustDesk

2) Installing the RustDesk application
  1. Click the button below to download the Rust Desk setup file

  2. Once downloaded, go to the file and double-click it to open the program

  3. Once in the program, you may see a message that RustDesk may not work properly if it is not actually installed. Click the Install button to begin the installation process

  4. I typically uncheck the box to have it create a desktop icon, and leave the other options as-is, but this is preference. When ready, click the Accept and Install button

  5. You may get a popup window asking for permission to install the program. Click Yes or OK to finish the installation

  6. RustDesk should now be installed on your machine. If it did not open after the install, it should be in your list of programs (if you opted to have it listed there)
